London (Style) Diary No.4

These pictures are from Tuesday - although it doesn't look like this in the pictures it was perfectly warm. 

I met Jakob's mum and sister for tea and cake in the early afternoon. I was really looking forward seeing his mum again,  I haven't met her since Jakob and I broke up. We spent a nice few hours together and then I went to Liverpool Street, where I was supposed to meet Sofie, unfortunately she wasn't there by the right time so I sat in front of the station all alone for two hours. I was a bit agitated after talking to Jakob's mum so I felt really alone in this big city, all by myself in front of the station. 

After two hours of thinking about my past and the future, Sofie finally arrived. We walked around Shoreditch a bit and went to a gallery to see a small exhibition (which was a bit disappointing). Later we went to Oxford Street for some shopping.. and here are some pictures:

Useless knowledge

This time: all about music.

I started playing the violin at the age of 5.

...and gave it up at the age of 8. 

I played the flute for more than 5 years.

And I played the guitar, the piano and the accordion for a very very short time. 

I had voice formation for 2 1/2 years. 

...together with Mia.'s singer Mieze. 

I also sang in a successful choir for years. 

I went to a primary school with education focusing on music. 

I hate the question "What kind of music do you like?" 

Random.

I just love my life so much right now! I'm done with my semestermodell, holidays just began and I finally got the time to see all my beloved ones again.
Since I had some hard weeks - I hardly slept, I worked all through the day (and all through the night), I almost lost my head, I didn't have the time to care about social contacts, I didn't even see Jakob except from about two hours per night - I need some time for myself now. So I started doing all the things I couldn't do the last weeks, I hang around with friends, I have cocktails, I go dancing, I don't sleep for days, I cook, I sit on the balcony reading a book (it's been way too long without reading), ..... I could tell you so much more, but you know what I mean - I finally got a life again.
Also I'm looking forward to traveling to London next Tuesday! I just can't wait being in London again and as a perfect start for my holidays I picked up my friend Carl from London last Saturday at the airport. He stays at our place for 10 days and returns to the UK about eight hours before I will leave for London :D It's just perfect and so lovely to spend so much time with a good friend, the last time we met was in October! But as I don't want to write an endless and boring blog post I will now shut up and  here they are - pictures and short stories, randomly as ever. Enjoy!

I'm such a typical blogger - I use to post my food photos all the time :D and of course - everything is vegan (and fucking delicious)

the final last hours - finishing my semestermodell // we're all through! // no sleep for days, 7 hours left until I had to present my semestermodell and the drawings, so I started getting mad and somehow I drew vampire teeth into my drawing's face -.- 

oh well, food again xD // the best vegan falafel !!!! I'm addicted // preparations for a late breakfast today

well, somehow we used to get drunk after school (not only once), we had such a funny time :D

haha, what happens if you have a bunch of fashion design students, alcohol, a boring t-shirt and a scissor? yes, you get a super cool redesigned t-shirt - oh Sascha boy, you're so stylish now! ;D

what's all that things going on with alcohol in school?! We had some fun being drunk in the elevator really early in the morning // Fabi boy forced me to wear his tower boots. Well, they really make your legs look so skinny, but me and tower boots? I don't think so :D // We had our last lesson with our great costume history teacher and a guy from my class drew this for him, amazing hm? 

You might have recognized that I really do a lot of partying at the moment, but I just need this so badly :D So I went to Kater Holzig one morning after work, I really like my work mate and we had a great night out. I came home the next day at 2pm, lol. // Kater Holzig while the sun rises up // my favorite drink at the moment - Becherovka on ice :D 

I made cocktails for the girls! Don't they look super tasty? // I love stepping out on the balcony and seeing new blossoms everyday // the most amazing sunset last week

I got stuck in the fridge :D // on our way to the club // of course we had to check our make up before queuing 

after all we ended up at Sisyphos (again), it was Carl's birthday by the way and we tried to make the best out of it and I know that he really liked it. Somehow my party routines changed, I use to arrive at the club when the sun already rises, I return back home around mid-day, I try to sleep for one or two hours and then I start doing something, and after all I somehow always end up in a club somewhere, don't ask why, I don't know. Jakob loves to make fun out of it and always says "see you tomorrow for lunch" when I leave the house for work haha. Well, as the poster says above "excess, my darling". Sometimes it just has to be like this.

Soooo, I know this has been quite a lot of pictures and I'm sure you don't know what to comment as there is so much to see and read xD But I would love to read something from you :)

Omg finally another sunny day here in Berlin! I can't wait for spring to come, I'm so tired of all the snow, grey and dark days, and of course I'm totally tired of the fucking cold. Jakob and I just came back in from taking some pictures and the sun was so warm, I almost couldn't believe it. 

Unfortunately we had too little time as my parents will come for dinner this evening and I have to clean the flat before they'll arrive. So,  I just wanted to wish you a lovely sunny Sunday and hope you'll have a great evening as I'm sure I will have :) 

Small presents keep a friendship alive.

I guess, you all know that feeling caused by a small present you didn't expect, don't you? Unpacking it, giddy with excitement, finally knowing what it is and being fulfilled with gratefulness and overwhelmed by feelings for the other person, isn't that great? Also, I think the other way round it's pretty nice too, seeing your friend unpacking what you chose, knowing that it is just the right thing for him or her. Yeeeeah, that's satisfying too.

Well, to be honest, what I'm talking about hasn't been a small present- a few weeks before Gülsün's birthday in November I had the sudden inspiration that a trip together to somewhere in Europe would be great. As you know, I'm just a poor student and don't have that much money, so I had to base my decision on what would be the cheapest flight. But to tell you the truth, the cheapest flight was to somewhere I don't even remember anymore and didn't want to go to. So I chose the second cheapest flight and that has been Amsterdam! How cool is that!? So I spent a few days on texting Gülsün about her working times, of course not too obviously, and then I booked the flights. But oooh, from then on it still has been about three weeks until her birthday, I almost died on that sneakiness! But time flies fast,  so her birthday came and I could finally reveal my present :) I guess I don't need to mention that she was very excited about it ;)

Later that evening we found a very nice and cheap apartment with a roof-deck, located 10 minutes away from the center of Amsterdam, we contacted the landlord and got the confirmation about 15 minutes later. 

Full of anticipation we started our trip about two weeks ago, we had a great time together, the weather wasn't as good as we expected but at least we had some sunshine :)

Unnützes Wissen No. 4

Ich gehe nie bei rot über die Straße, wenn Kinder an der Ampel stehen. Sowas find ich unmöglich.

Meine erste große Liebe war Ville Valo :> . 

Ich kann das Geräusch von klapperndem Besteck nicht ab, ich krieg Gänsehaut und mir zieht sich alles zusammen. 

Wenn ich einen Nagellack zu oft benutze, kann ich ihn nicht mehr sehen. Da ich aber nur Rot/Magenta-Töne trage, habe ich tausende Abstufungen und für Außenstehende sehen sie alle gleich aus ^^ 

Ich habe eine Schwäche für Glitzerschuhe, schon immer gehabt. 

An Lackschuhen kann ich ebenfalls nicht vorbeigehen, ich LIEBE Lackschuhe. 

Ich habe meine letzten Sommerferien damit verbracht, mich tagsüber wie ein Grottenolm im Dunkeln hinter zugezogenen Vorhängen zu verkriechen und alle Staffeln Gossip Girl zu schauen. (jetzt hab ich mich geoutet, ohje, Chaaaaaaair 4eveeeeeer, haha) 

Wenn ich mehr als eine Kanne grünen Tee pro Tag trinke, muss ich kotzen.


Wenn irgendwo Ingwer drin ist, MUSS ich es probieren, ich LIEBE Ingwer. (meine neueste Entdeckung: Ingwer Wodka (natürlich selbst gemacht))


Ich war seit vielen Jahren zu Silvester nicht mehr in Berlin. Ich HASSE Silvester in Berlin.

Unnützes Wissen No. 2

Nach ewigen Zeiten mal wieder ein Unnützes Wissen Post, eigentlich wäre es nicht erst der 2., aber ich hab - versehentlich, bis auf den ersten, die anderen gelöscht..

In meiner Familie nennt mich jeder anders. Ich heiße zwar Lea, aber das scheint kein Grund zu sein, mich auch so zu nennen. Mein Papa nennt mich "Monsterchen", meine Mama nennt mich "Muppy", mein Bruder nennt mich "Leosch" und meine Omi nennt mich "Leechi". 

Temperaturen über 22 Grad lehne ich grundsätzlich ab. Es ist einfach zu warm.

Ich habe den letzten Winter geliebt! Es waren fast durchgängig 12 Grad und ich hab in meinen dünnen Feinstrumpfhosen nicht frieren müssen.

Wenn ich jemanden nicht mag, lasse ich ihn das auch spüren. 

Ich klebe meine Webcam immer ab, weil ich es komisch finde, eine offene Kamera an einem internetfähigen Gerät zu haben. 

Ich lasse mich zu gern von den schönen Dingen des Lebens ablenken. 

Ich leide immer und ständig unter akutem Fernweh. 

Seit ich 13 bin, ist kein Tag vergangen, an dem ich ohne Nagellack war. Ich mache ihn nur ab, um neuen draufzupinseln. Ich hasse meine Nägel ohne Lack, sie sehen nackt und farblos aus. 

Ich kann es nicht leiden, wenn Leute mir sagen, ich hätte tolle rote oder lila Haare. Sie sind PINK, verdammt.

Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Menschen bin ich gern mal allein. Ich mag meine Gesellschaft. Ich finde das sehr erfrischend.

Unnützes Wissen No.1

 Nutella ohne Butter drunter geht gar nicht

 Ich habe früher dauernd Sternburg getrunken und ekel mich mittlerweile davor - wie konnte ich das zu mir nehmen?! Es schmeckt SCHEUSSLICH! 

 Ich liebe den Geschmack von Husten-Bronchial Tee und trinke ihn vor allem dann, wenn ich gesund bin :>
