When A. and I went for a walk lately we also took some photos of my new skirt :)  The skirt is something I need to get used to because it's quite long and blue and normally I don't wear skirts which are that long and also I normally don't wear blue. When I look at the pictures I somehow like it but I guess I will shorten the skirt a bit (otherwise I won't wear it very often^^) But all in all I do like the whole look, what about you?

(My mum's comment when she saw the picture: "You look like a real adult!", haha)

Black'n White

Since everyone is posting about Christmas and the oh-so-yummy food and their oh-so-gorgeous presents I'm not willing to write another boring Christmas post (I don't want to say by this that every Christmas post is boring but I just can't see them anymore...) so I decided to take some new outfit photos with A. 

We went to one of my favorite photo locations but unfortunately it wasn't very bright so the photos turned out to be a bit dark but somehow it fits my mood and the weather at all. 

This is a very grown-up look but classy and chic at the same time. You may remember that I'm still somehow new into wearing trousers but meanwhile I'm getting used to it (and beginning to like it). "You look as if you're planning to go to a parent-teacher conference" said A. when he first saw me in this combination :D Even though he's right I do like the look and since my hair is pink and extraordinary I don't look that frumpy or what do you think?

Goodbye autumn, I already miss u!

While looking through my pictures in iPhoto I found some old ones A. took of me on a lovely sunny autumn day. I don't want to withhold  them back from you, and since autumn is already finally over this is some kind of homage to my favorite time of the year. 

I do remember that day very well, we also took some photos of A. for my blog while walking through the Tiergarten, it's been quite warm and the light was amazing, I wore one of my favorite dresses and really enjoyed the feeling of the warm autumn sun on my skin. 

                          

The cape

I always wanted to have a cape but never found one which looked good on me, so I gave it up a few years ago but then I found this one online on h&m.com and ordered it immediately, I'm really satisfied about how it looks on me and I already got lots of compliments for it - I guess I finally found the cape I always wanted to own :) 

The dress

The dress is one of my favorites, it's so elegant and classy but not too old-fashioned with it's golden zippers on the sleeves which gives a modern touch to that little black dress. Nobody believes it's an h&m dress.

The necklace

I don't know how often I wrote about this necklace, it already looks a bit shabby but it's still one of my favorite jewellery items I own (so many favorite items in one post....) 

The shoes (although you hardly seem them in this post)

Ahhh, and again, one of my all-time favorites! Made from real leather but didn't cost a fortune, to be honest, it was a real bargain, they were on sale and I never ever regretted buying them.

London (Style) Diary No. 1

I'm such a lucky girl! I'm back in London for nearly 11 days :D And since I know that so many of my lovely followers are also huge London fans, I decided to share a post with you daily again :) This time I came to London with a friend of mine, Sofie, and you will get to know her in this post too. We decided it'll be more fun if we're also taking pictures of her instead of only taking pictures of me and posting them here. 

We arrived on the early Friday evening in Southend (which is the smallest airport I've ever seen) and didn't went out for a party or something which turned out to be the right decision as we had to get up quite early on Saturday morning to get the train to St. Albans, where we met Sofie's family for lunch. We spent the whole day in St. Albans, had tea and brownies with Sofie's lovely granny and walked around to find a nice place for taking the pictures. And here they are:

We're studying fashion design together and it was more like a spontaneous idea to go to London together, we sat in our nude drawing course when we decided that we both wanted to get out of here, so we looked up the flights and booked them immediately. 

                       

Hello, lovely autumn!

Finally - it's autumn! Autumn is my favorite time of the year, I love it when the leaves turn from green into coloured, when the wind blows gently through your hair, when it's cold enough to wear your favorite jackets and coats but still warm enough so that you don't have to freeze. Everything looks so much nicer when it's autumn :) 

I went for a bike-tour and a walk with my boyfriend on Sunday through the Tiergarten where he took the following pictures of me and my outfit. 

the suit:

Isn't this a lovely pattern? I wasn't sure if a combination like this would fit me but I just had to try it on - and what should I say? I think it looks quite nice on me even if it still feels a bit strange :) 

the blouse:

I already mentioned it a few times  - this oversized blouse is from a charity shop in London - an absolute bargain buy and although it's quite old by now I still love to wear it very often. 

the bag:

Well.... If I hadn't bought it myself I wouldn't believe it's a Primark bag :D It doesn't look so cheap as the other Primark bags always do. 

the shoes:

You should know them - I wear them a lot and they're still one of my absolute favorites. 

the ring:

I bought it on a flea market in London a few years ago :)

London Style Diary #5

I know, I'm a little late today but it's still on time ;) Yesterday we went to Camden Town, sat down by the Canal, had some tasty vegan Indian food, drank cocktails and sat on the rooftop terrace of a pub. Later I picked up Sofie, I'm studying fashion design with her and she's just spending some days in London at the same time I do. After cooking delicious vegan dinner, we met my friend Danny and there it began - the most excessive night of the week! I guess I'm not really sober yet, we've been to so many bars and clubs (my wrist shows a nice collection of stamps) and yeah, what else should I say? I had a great night out and it was definitely worth the hangover! Here you can see my outfit for the day, I think it suits Camden Town really well :D 

the jacket:
The leather jacket is an evergreen and so is this one, it is my favorite one and of course I had to wear it on our day in Camden Town.

the shirt:

it is actually the one I already wore in this post (click) and since I bought it in extra large I can also wear it as a super short dress :D 

the bag:

boring boring...you already know it from all the London posts before.

the shoes:

they are currently my favorite shoes by the way, I just love the mix of shiny fabric and patent leather.
